Dear Pastors,
Greetings in the name of our Lord and Saviour. I pray that
your ministry is flourishing as people learn of the good
news of salvation through Christ. Our family is glad to be
back in the country after a year of furlough. We are looking
forward to working together with you and your churches for
the advancement of the work of God through the ministries of
local churches.
There are many things that have changed for Baptist Bible
College over the past two years. Two of the biggest changes
have been the relocation to the White House on Cannock Chase
and the change to the modular system for classes.
These changes have enabled the Bible College to offer the
opportunity for people to audit classes. Those who audit can
take any class for a fee of £20. This means that they can
take the class, purchase textbooks, and decide whether to
take the quizzes, exams, and do the outside work. If the
auditor decides to do the extra work, their grades will be
recorded. If they decide to do a certificate or degree
course at a later time the class would count for credit.
Alternately, if they do not want the pressure of the extra
work they are able to enjoy the class and fellowship as well
as gain the knowledge.
Typically the classes are taught Monday – Friday nights from
6-10 PM. A few classes vary from this schedule and advice
will be given. One room is available with two beds if it is
needed. The cost is £5 per night, £1 for each breakfast and
lunch and £1.50 for tea.
I would also like to ask you to consider supporting the
Bible College as a mission project of your church on a
regular basis. We are working to develop programmes that
will benefit the local churches by making the teaching more
available. We could also use your input, both physically and
financially so that costs can be kept as reasonable as
possible while offering the best possible training facility.
In Christ,
